A previous report indicated that Samsung is gearing up to introduce a new addition to its rugged phone lineup, specifically the Galaxy XCover 8 Pro. This rumor has been confirmed, as the device has already been spotted on BIS certifications. Furthermore, a recent appearance suggests that the launch of this brand-new rugged smartphone will be global in scope.

According to information provided by Sammobile, the upcoming Galaxy XCover 8 Pro has recently appeared on Geekbench certifications, revealing its scores, with 1157 points on the single-core test and 3288 points on the multi-core test.

The listings indicate that the newest Galaxy XCover 8 Pro carries the SM-G766 model number and highlights some key specifications of the upcoming rugged device. The listing confirms that the phone will feature One UI 7, running on top of Android 15.

Additionally, the Geekbench listing reveals the incorporation of the Adreno 810 GPU, indicating that the Galaxy XCover 8 Pro features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, similar to the previous Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, and offers up to 6GB of RAM.

Moreover, Samsung appears to be planning a global launch for the upcoming Galaxy XCover 8 Pro, as the TUV Rheinland certification lists model numbers for four major regions, including SM-G766B (Europe), SM-G766W (Canada), SM-G766U, and SM-G766U1 (US carrier-locked and unlocked).

Currently, details are limited, and it is likely that the development of the Galaxy XCover 8 Pro is ongoing. As a result, leaks and rumors will likely continue to emerge over the coming days.
