Although Samsung has already hinted at bringing the exclusive Now Brief feature of the Galaxy S25 series to the Galaxy S24 lineup with the current One UI 7 Beta 6, it’s possible that older flagships, such as the S23 series or other foldable devices, may also receive this feature in the near future.

Currently, Galaxy S24 series owners are testing the One UI 7 Beta 6 update, with the stable update scheduled to roll out on April 7. The latest beta build has introduced a new functionality, Now Brief, to the S24 models, which was previously hidden under certain settings.

A recent report suggested that the S25’s exclusive Now Brief feature could be made available to the Galaxy S24 series devices through the stable update. A user has now discovered the feature on their device running One UI 7 Beta 6 build using a hack via the activity launcher (via sammobile).

As a result, it’s possible that this hack could work on other devices, and the Now Brief feature might be made available to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, and other older Galaxy models. However, Samsung has already denied plans to expand the Now Brief functionality to more Galaxy devices.

Regarding the potential expansion of Now Brief to older Galaxy smartphones, being a useful feature, it’s hoped that Samsung may provide it to more smartphones and foldables, either with the stable One UI 7 build or with an additional update. Ultimately, the decision lies with Samsung.
