Samsung has introduced a new Panorama camera feature with its latest flagship series, the Galaxy S25, which is expected to be available on more high-end Galaxy devices with the upcoming One UI 7 update. This feature includes a Panoramic View option that enhances the overall camera experience.

A panorama camera is specifically designed to capture wide-angle images, typically ranging from 180 to 360 degrees, either by rotating the lens or the camera itself or by combining multiple images simultaneously.

While the Panorama Mode is already available on older Galaxy smartphones, the new Panoramic View button, accessible when viewing a picture, streamlines the experience and provides an enhanced option for users.

With the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 update, older flagship Galaxy devices are slated to receive an upgraded Panorama feature. Samsung has confirmed that it plans to bring the advanced Panorama feature from the Galaxy S25 to several devices, including:

  • Galaxy S24 series
  • Galaxy S23 series
  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6
  • Galaxy Z Flip 6
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5
  • Galaxy Z Fold 4
  • Galaxy Z Flip 4
  • Galaxy Tab S10 series
  • Galaxy Tab S9 series
  • Galaxy Tab S8 series

The new Panorama View feature on the Galaxy S25 enhances the way panoramic photos are viewed, allowing users to experience them in a more immersive way. When selecting a panoramic photo in the Gallery, a “View Panorama” button appears, enabling users to open the Panorama Viewer and explore the photo in a more interactive manner.
