Apple’s new MacBook Air starts at $999 and features an M4 chip, making it a great value for those in the market for a new laptop. The MacBook Air also has a new center stage webcam with a 12-megapixel camera. However, some users may be disappointed that it doesn’t have a higher refresh rate screen or face ID.
The iPad Air also received an update with an M3 chip, but it’s not a significant upgrade. The base iPad is still a great value, especially at its reduced price of $349. It’s a good option for those who want a basic tablet for everyday use.
Mobile World Congress 2025 had some interesting announcements, including Lenovo’s concept devices such as a flip foldable laptop and a rollable laptop. These devices are still in the conceptual phase, but they show promise for innovative design and functionality.
Samsung also announced new devices, including the Galaxy A series, which will be available in the UK and Europe. The A56 is a notable device that will not be available in the US, at least not yet.
Devindra recently reviewed NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 and AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT. He found that AMD’s cards offer great performance at a lower price point, making them a compelling option for those in the market for a new graphics card.
For pop culture picks, Nathan recommends “The Pit” on Max, a medical drama that explores the lives of doctors and patients in a hospital. Cherlynn recommends “Bodies” on Netflix, a limited series about time travel and its consequences. Devindra recommends “A Thousand Blows” on Hulu, a period drama that follows the story of a Jamaican immigrant in Victorian London.
