Grogu and the Mandalorian’s Presence at Galaxy’s Edge
The presence of Grogu and the Mandalorian at Galaxy’s Edge has further disrupted the set timeline, leaving uncertainty about who might appear at the Disneyland Resort’s Star Wars destination next. This morning, Disney Parks on Instagram shared a cryptic video of Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 arriving next to the Millennium Falcon, sending chills down fans’ spines as they saw the legendary Lucasfilm hero roll up to the iconic spaceship along with his droid.
Luke Skywalker’s Debut at Disneyland
From March 28 to May 11, during Season of the Force at Disneyland, Luke Skywalker will make his debut in the theme park. He will be the first of the original trilogy trio to appear, and it will be a younger Luke, not the old man Force ghost Luke that Galaxy’s Edge would have had to use if it had stayed within the park’s original chronology between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. This setting shifted once Disney+ characters started appearing in Galaxy’s Edge, including Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Fennec Shand, and more.
Luke Skywalker’s Appearance and Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite
This Luke will don his signature black Jedi robe and will be appearing for the Star Wars-inspired park’s seasonal themed overlay at the Disneyland resort. Additionally, Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite dates will run concurrently with Season of the Force; the special theme park-wide takeover ticketed event will run at a separate cost from April 8 to May 6.
