Samsung is preparing to unveil its inaugural tri-fold phone, dubbed Galaxy G Fold, later this year, and the company is currently testing the One UI 7 firmware build for the device.

The South Korean tech giant is actively working to maintain its lead in the foldable market by introducing innovative products. Currently, it has several foldable phones in development, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE. In addition to these devices, the Galaxy G Fold (tri-fold) is also expected to debut this year, potentially running One UI 7 out of the box.

Previously, it was reported that the company might launch its first-ever tri-fold, titled Galaxy G Fold, after the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled to take place in the early second half of this year. Meanwhile, a tipster, @KeepUpwithOneUI, shared a post on X, revealing that the upcoming Galaxy tri-fold has been spotted on the One UI 7 test server with the build number AYD3.
