Samsung has recently surprised its Galaxy smartwatch users with a significant software update for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models, aimed at enhancing the wearable’s overall performance and behavior.

Furthermore, the latest update for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra has now been rolled out to the US.

Carrying the build numbers L310XXU1AYCD and L705USQU1AYCD , the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra are receiving a new update with a substantial package size of 900MB. Although the update is currently limited to US models, it is expected to be expanded to other regions soon.

Notably, the changelog does not mention any major new features or changes introduced with the latest update. However, considering the substantial update size, it is likely that Samsung has incorporated numerous performance improvements to provide a more optimized user experience for the Galaxy smartwatches.

In addition to the performance enhancements, the latest update also includes the March security patch, which enhances the security of the device and protects it against potential threats.

Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra owners in the US can now download and install the latest version on their respective smartwatches once the notification arrives. Alternatively, they can manually check for the update, which can be done through either the smartwatch or a Galaxy smartphone.
