The Samsung Galaxy S25 series’ younger sibling, the Galaxy S25 Edge, is slated for release in Q2, 2025, reportedly in April, amid a flurry of rumors and reports circulating online. A recent report has surfaced, claiming to confirm the device’s price for South Korean fans, positioning it as the second most expensive option, after the S25 Ultra.
According to leaker Jukanlosreve, as reported by Korean news outlet Fnnews, Samsung Electronics is set to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge at a price of 1.63 million won ($1200) in the domestic market (South Korea).
Notably, the reports suggest that this price tag will be the second highest among the four smartphones in Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series, following the high-end Ultra model.
Furthermore, the industrial source reveals that the Galaxy S25 Edge’s 256GB variant will be priced at 1,500,000 won, while the 512GB unit will be priced at 1.63 million won (equivalent to 1,630,000 Korean won). Additionally, the source confirms that there will not be a 1TB variant of the S25 Edge.
In comparison, Samsung launched the top model of the Galaxy S25 family, the S25 Ultra, at 1,698,400 won for the 256GB variant, and 1,841,400 won for the 512GB model. If the reported price tag of the Galaxy S25 Edge is accurate, then the device will indeed have the second-highest price designation, after the S25 Ultra.
Given that the Galaxy S25 Edge was showcased via a short teaser at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 and displayed at the MWC 2025 event in Spain, the pricing confirmation suggests that the device is nearing release in South Korea and will be rolled out sequentially in other major markets, such as the US.
