# Samsung Delivers February 2025 Security Update for Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung is among the few smartphone manufacturers that have started to roll out the latest security patches for its flagship smartphones. While fans are eagerly waiting for the release of One UI 7, it’s apparently disappointing for the Galaxy S23 series owners as Samsung is pushing a February 2025 security update for the devices, as of now.

The 2023 flagships, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra have started receiving the February 2025 security update in their home country, South Korea with the S911NKSU5CYB1, S916NKSU5CYB1, and S918NKSU5CYB1 version numbers, respectively.

The February 2025 security update is devoid of any major features and changes, however it primarily adds several fixes for all the security vulnerabilities addressed by both Google and Samsung collectively, offering a more secure user experience while also protecting the device against potential threats and harms.

Apart from this, the update further brings certain performance optimizations, adds stability and reliability to the overall system behavior, applies all the latest security patches, and brings improvements to the existing features that significantly aim to offer users stable, optimized, and efficient functionality.

Currently, Samsung is delivering the February update for the Galaxy S23 series owners in South Korea, and it’s expected that the update will reach all the other eligible regions shortly.
