Dustin Moskovitz, the founder of Asana, is stepping down from his role at the software company he established in 2008.

The task management platform, Asana, revealed Moskovitz’s retirement plans as part of its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings report, as reported by CNBC. According to the announcement, Moskovitz has informed the board of his intention to transition into a chair role once a new CEO takes over.

Asana has secured over $450 million in venture funding from prominent investors, including G Squared, Founders Fund, and 8VC, among others, before its initial public offering in 2020. Notably, Moskovitz was a co-founder of Meta, previously known as Facebook, prior to founding Asana.
