Following the release of the latest March 2025 security update for the majority of its Galaxy smartphones and tablets, Samsung is now working on rolling out the update to additional regions. In the meantime, the company’s mid-range devices, the Galaxy A53 and A54, have begun receiving the update.

The March 2025 security patch is now available for the Galaxy A53 and A54 in Europe, although it was previously released in a few North American countries, such as Mexico, a few days ago. The update is expected to be rolled out to more countries in the coming days.

The latest firmware for the Galaxy A53 carries the build number A536BXXSDEYB9, while the Galaxy A54 has the version number A546BXXSBCYB7.

The security patches are primarily designed to enhance the device’s overall security and core functionality. Although they do not introduce any significant new features or changes, they do include a number of fixes for security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version. This aims to provide a safer and more secure user experience, while also protecting the device from potential threats.

Additionally, the update includes several performance optimizations, which contribute to more efficient functionality and add stability to the system’s behavior. This results in a smoother and more stable experience for users.
