As 2024 comes to a close, Samsung has given us a compelling reason to end the year on a high note: the highly anticipated Android 15-based One UI 7’s first public beta is now available for the Galaxy S24 series. This updated version boasts a fresh new look and design, inspired by iOS, and introduces several AI-powered tools, giving the interface a significant visual overhaul.

We’re here to guide you through the process of downloading and installing the latest One UI 7 Beta update, regardless of your location, if you’re encountering difficulties with the installation process.

Samsung typically rolls out the latest One UI update to seven regions, including South Korea, India, Germany, the UK, Poland, the US, and China. Currently, the One UI 7’s first beta is available in the US, Germany, South Korea, and the UK, starting with the Galaxy S24 series.

The latest version is packed with new surprises and features, including advanced AI functions, visual enhancements with a bold new look and design, an improved home and lock screen, a new camera layout, professional and more powerful editing tools, personalized health management, boosted productivity, seamless connectivity, and other relevant improvements.

Alternatively, thanks to the XDA forums, we have obtained the Update.zip files, and all eligible Samsung Galaxy S24 models are listed below with relevant links attached. Please note that it’s essential to select the correct model number for your device from the list.

Important Note:

1. Before updating to the One UI 7 Beta based on Android 15, it’s recommended to back up your data as a precaution. The update won’t delete your data, but it’s always better to be safe.
2. Ensure your device is on the latest build – AXK4. You can check the build number in Settings > About Phone > Software information. The last four characters of the build number are what you need to look for. If you’re on a different build, you won’t be able to flash the file successfully.
3. Spoiler: Are you on AXK5/AXKA?
   • If you have an S928B and are on AXKA, you can install the 6.1 to beta 2 link directly. Otherwise, you must flash AXK4 with Odin.

How to Install One UI 7 Beta ROM

1. Download the SDK platform tools on your PC from here.
2. Extract the downloaded file in your desktop.
3. Place the update.zip file of the update you wish to install inside the extracted folder.
4. While holding the left shift key, right-click inside the folder and select “Open command prompt here” or “Open Windows PowerShell here”. The command prompt or Windows PowerShell will open.
5. Enable USB Debugging in Developer options on your phone. You can access Developer options by continuously tapping the build number in Settings > About phone > Software version.
6. Connect your phone to your PC using an original USB cable. You may see a pop-up message saying “Allow USB Debugging from this device?” Click Allow.
7. In the opened Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell on your PC, type the following command: ./adb reboot recovery. Your phone will reboot into recovery mode.
8. In recovery mode on your phone, select “Update via ADB” using the volume buttons and power button.
9. In the Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell on your PC, run the following command: ./adb devices.
10. Wait for a message indicating that the daemon has started and your device has been found.
11. If your device is found, run the following command: ./adb sideload update.zip.
12. The update process will begin, and you’ll see a percentage counter. First, it will verify, then patch, etc. Do not move the cable, disconnect the phone, or power off the PC.

Once you’ve completed the above steps, your Galaxy device will start booting and optimizing all applications, and you’re ready to experience One UI 7 Beta!

There are two methods to enter recovery mode:

Method 1 “ADB Method”:
1. Connect your phone to your PC (ensure USB debugging is enabled).
2. Using ADB, enter the command ./adb reboot recovery
3. Wait for your phone to reboot, and you should be in recovery mode.

Method 2:
1. Power off your device.
2. Connect your device to a PC or AKG earphones.
