Samsung’s wearable devices, particularly the Galaxy watches, stand out in the market. To enhance the user experience, the company released the first software update of 2025 for the Galaxy Watch 6 series in January. Now, the 6th-generation smartwatch models are receiving another update.

The new update is being rolled out for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, and it is available for both Bluetooth and LTE models. The BYD1 update is for Bluetooth models, while the BXL1 update is for LTE units. Currently, the update is limited to South Korea, but it will be available in other regions soon.

The update does not introduce any significant features or changes. Instead, it focuses on improving the overall stability and security of the smartwatches to provide a more stable, secure, and efficient user experience, which ultimately enhances system performance.

In addition, this latest Wear OS-based software update aims to enhance functionality and add improvements to existing features, including health upgrades and sleep tracking.

Furthermore, owners of the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic can manually check for the latest update and update to the latest version directly from their watches.
