Sony Reveals New Games for PlayStation Plus in February

Sony has announced the lineup of games available for PlayStation Plus subscribers in February. The lineup includes some solid entries, such as Payday 3 and High on Life.

Impact on PS4 Owners

The company also made an announcement that could impact current PS4 owners, stating that "PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit and will only be occasionally offered" starting in 2026. This change is understandable, given that the PS4 was released in 2013 and the PS5 is approaching its fifth birthday.

Games Available in February

The games available for download on February 4 include:

  • Payday 3: A four-player title set several years after the events of Payday 2, where players can rob banks and take hostages.
  • High on Life: A first-person shooter with a unique twist, where all the weapons talk and are voiced by Justin Roiland.
  • Pac-Man World Re-Pac: A remake of a 2004 platformer, offering an improved UI, fine-tuned mechanics, and updated visuals.

Games Leaving PlayStation Plus

On the other hand, some games are about to leave the service. These include:

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
  • Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered
  • The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe

These games will disappear on February 3, so subscribers will have a limited time to download them before they are removed from the service.
