Introduction to Xbox Kitchen Items
We have seen various Xbox-styled kitchen items emerge over the years, ranging from the Series X fridge to the Series S toaster. Recently, Xbox Canada unveiled a unique addition to this collection: a bagged milk pitcher designed in the style of the Xbox Series X.
The Concept of Bagged Milk
In several countries, including Canada, India, and parts of South America, it is common to purchase milk in bags. This tradition involves placing the bag into a pitcher, cutting off the corner, and then pouring the milk as needed, taking care not to spill any. One of the practical advantages of this method is that the bags occupy less space in garbage or recycling compared to traditional milk containers. However, the pitchers used for bagged milk are usually plain and uninteresting, typically being boring white jugs.
The Xbox Series X Milk Pitcher
Until now, that is. The Xbox Series X Milk Pitcher comes in two color options: white or black. It has the capacity to hold up to 1.3 liters (or 2.75 pints) of bagged milk, providing ample fuel for marathon gaming sessions, whether you’re engaging in a Halo Infinite deathmatch or exploring the world of an Oblivion remaster. Unfortunately, there is no official word yet on whether Xbox Canada plans to sell this item or if it’s merely a creative marketing stunt.
Bagged Milk: A Canadian Tradition
For those unfamiliar with the concept of bagged milk, it may seem unusual at first. However, in Canada, milk in a bag is as quintessentially Canadian as poutine, the TV show Letterkenny, ice hockey played on frozen ponds, and the music of The Beaches. As a member of Engadget’s Canadian team, I feel it’s my duty to test out this product and experience the fusion of gaming culture and Canadian tradition firsthand. My contact information is available in my bio, Xbox, if you’re looking for a willing participant.
