Wednesday Season 2 Preview Unveiled at Netflix’s Tudum Presentation

At the recent Tudum presentation, Jenna Ortega, star of Tim Burton’s Wednesday, presented an exclusive six-minute preview of the show’s second season, set within the Addams Family universe.

Below, you can watch the preview of the series’ return, which promises to deliver more of the eerie and mysterious atmosphere that fans have come to love. As a new year begins at Nevermore Academy, Wednesday, her roommate Enid (Emma Myers), and brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) become entangled in a new, dark mystery. Before returning to Nevermore, Wednesday recounts her summer break adventures, including a surprise encounter with a special guest star, Haley Joel Osment.

The second season of the hit series, created by director Tim Burton, will delve deeper into the history of the Addams Family, introducing new characters, including Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump. The ensemble cast also features Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.

Lady Gaga is set to make an appearance in the show, following the viral success of her song “Bloody Mary” being featured in Wednesday’s dance routine. However, her role has not been disclosed.

Jenna Ortega not only reprises her lead role but also takes on the position of executive producer. In an interview with Tudum, Ortega expressed her excitement about being part of the creative process, saying, “I’ve learned so much this season… To be able to learn from someone like Tim [Burton] firsthand has been a very special experience.”

Wednesday season two will premiere in two parts: part one on August 6 and part two on September 3, exclusively on Netflix.
