Annapurna Interactive to Host Games Showcase

Annapurna Interactive is hosting a games showcase on February 24, which will be streamed live at 12PM ET via the company’s YouTube page. To build anticipation, the publisher has released a short teaser video.

Background and Expectations

This event marks the first showcase held by Annapurna Interactive since the entire staff resigned last year, following a failed attempt to spin off the games division. The team stated, "All 25 members of the Annapurna Interactive team collectively resigned. This was one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make and we did not take this action lightly."

After the mass walkout, Annapurna hired new staff to replace those who left. This showcase will be the first opportunity to see what the revamped publishing house has been working on. The company has announced that the showcase will be 30 minutes long, focusing on its 2025 lineup of releases, including titles such as Wanderstop, Skin Deep, Wheel World, Faraway, Lushfoil, To a T, and Morsels, among others. Notably, Wheel World, previously known as Ghost Bike, and Faraway, which looks promising, are games to watch out for. Annapurna has also promised “a few more surprises” in addition to these games.
