Samsung has initiated the rollout of new software for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, and the A series model, Galaxy A13, which incorporates the February update to enhance security features.
The February 2025 security update is now available for the Verizon carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Galaxy A13 in the US.
This update has already been released for Samsung’s 4th gen foldables in Europe. The update can be identified by the build numbers F936USQS7GYA5 and F721USQS7GYA5 for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, respectively, while the Galaxy A13 has the A135USQSBEYA1 version number.
As this is a security update, it does not introduce any significant new features or changes. Instead, it focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality by addressing various security vulnerabilities and providing a more secure user experience, while also safeguarding against potential risks.
Furthermore, the update enhances the overall system stability, brings certain performance optimizations, and applies the latest security patches, ultimately leading to a smoother, more stable, and optimized performance and functionality.
