One UI 7 is set to launch on eligible Galaxy devices starting from April 7, but for now, Samsung is focusing on rolling out the March 2025 security update.
In the meantime, the March 2025 security patch has been made available for Verizon carrier-locked Galaxy S25 and S22 series owners in the US. The update for the latest flagships, including the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, bears the S931USQS1AYBC, S936USQS1AYBC, and S938USQS1AYBC build numbers, respectively.
Similarly, the update for the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra features the S901USQS8EYC1, S906USQS8EYC1, and S908USQS8EYC1 version numbers, respectively.
The security patches are minor in nature and primarily aimed at enhancing the device’s overall security and core functionality without introducing significant features or changes. They incorporate numerous fixes for previously addressed security vulnerabilities, providing a safer and more secure user experience while protecting the device from potential threats.
Additionally, the update enhances the system’s stability, resulting in more efficient functionality, and introduces performance optimizations that lead to a smoother, more stable, and optimized user experience.
