Independent game publishers and developers are once again collaborating to showcase their latest projects in a gaming event presented by The Triple-i Initiative. The second edition of this event is scheduled to take place on April 10, at noon ET, which coincides with the date of the previous year’s event.

The inaugural showcase featured announcements for The Rogue Prince of Persia and Slay the Spire 2, as well as expansion reveals for Brotato and Vampire Survivors. Additionally, significant updates were unveiled for Palworld, Risk of Rain 2, and V Rising.

This year’s event promises 45 minutes of world premieres, gameplay reveals, release dates, demo drops, and more from over 30 games. V Rising will make a return appearance, alongside titles such as Enshrouded and Deep Rock Galactic. The showcase trailer offers a glimpse of Sifu developer Sloclap‘s upcoming 5v5 arcade soccer game, Rematch, indicating that an update on this game is forthcoming. Furthermore, Vampire Survivors studio Poncle is among the list of developers with announcements to share.

Moreover, Playstack, the publisher of the popular game Balatro, has a significant announcement in store. “We had been saving our major announcement for a special showcase,” stated Marta Matyjewicz, marketing manager at Playstack. “We were impressed by the quality of last year’s Triple-i, so when the opportunity arose to participate, we knew we had to take it. It’s a true honor to showcase our game alongside so many exceptional titles.” 🙂👀👀

The showcase will be broadcast on multiple platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Bilibili, and Steam. Following the main event, a post-show will delve deeper into some of the featured games. A week-long sale featuring games from both editions of the Triple-i Initiative will commence on Steam, Epic Games Store, Humble, and other platforms on the same day as the showcase.
