The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series has started receiving the February 2025 security update in the European market, following in the footsteps of several other Galaxy devices.
Samsung is rapidly expanding the rollout of this month’s security patch to eligible Galaxy devices, and the Galaxy Tab S9 is the latest to receive it in Europe. Recently, the company released the same patch for the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and last week it was rolled out for the Galaxy Tab S8 series in Korea.
Each variant of the Galaxy Tab S9 series has received a security patch with dedicated firmware, as outlined below:
- Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra – X916BXXS5BYA5
- Galaxy Tab S9+ – X816BXXS5BYA5
- Galaxy Tab S9 – X716BXXS5BYA5
While the patch does not introduce any significant changes or improvements, it resolves bugs and issues present in the previous version, ensuring a smoother user experience. It also enhances the overall system security to prevent security and privacy risks, increasing the stability and reliability of the device for seamless performance.
European users can now download the patch to upgrade their devices.
