The Prime Minister comes from a political family, with his father having served as prime minister and his sister as the mayor of Athens. However, he has carved out his own reputation as a reformer focused on modernizing the Greek economy. His administration has shown particular interest in leveraging technology to diversify traditional Greek strengths, such as shipping and tourism.
