Sony Announces Pricing for Upcoming Audio Products
Sony has recently announced the pricing for several of its upcoming products, including the Bravia Theater Bar 6 soundbar. This 3.1.2-channel system is priced at $650 for US consumers and comes with a wireless subwoofer, supporting both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
The soundbar is equipped with up-mixing technology that transforms stereo content into 3D sound when immersive formats are not available. Additionally, it features a dedicated center speaker and an AI-powered tool called Voice Zoom 3, which enhances dialogue.

Although the soundbar is not the Bar 6, it supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The subwoofer has a slightly different design compared to the one that ships with the Bar 6. This system also offers stereo up-mixing, transforming content into 3D audio via Sony’s proprietary algorithm.
Furthermore, the Bravia Theater Rear 8 speakers are compatible with Sony’s soundbars and work with its 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology to calibrate the system to the acoustics of a specific living room. These speakers are priced at $450.
Product Availability and Release Dates
Although the pricing has been announced, official release dates have not been confirmed. According to Sony, these products are expected to be available for sale later this spring.
