Slocap’s upcoming game, Rematch, is scheduled to be released on June 19, with a price tag of $30. This game will be available on multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. The announcement of Rematch was made at The Triple-i Initiative, an event that showcased various indie games.

Game Overview

Rematch is a 5v5 arcade soccer title, which might come as a surprise from the company behind brawlers like Sifu and Absolver. However, this game seems to focus on arcade-style gameplay rather than a serious simulation. The game features both 5v5 and 4v4 matches, with fast-paced action and no fouls or offsides to slow down the game. A Rocket League-style boundary wall keeps the ball in play at all times.

Preorders for Rematch are already available, and an open beta is set to start on April 18. Players can register for this two-day event now. Additionally, there are two special editions of the game: the Pro Edition, which costs $40 and allows early access to the game, as well as cosmetic and gameplay upgrades; and the Elite Edition, which includes all the contents of the Pro Edition and more upgrades, such as customizable sneakers, for $50.
