Samsung is steadily releasing the March 2025 security update to its devices, with several major Galaxy models having already received the patch. The update has been rolled out to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, as well as the Galaxy S24 series, over the past few hours. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is now also receiving the security update.

In South Korea, where the company is currently distributing the latest March 2025 security update, the Galaxy Flip 5 foldable device has started receiving the update, bearing the F731NKSS5DYBE build number.

According to the March 2025 security patch bulletin, the latest software update does not introduce any new features or changes. Instead, it focuses on enhancing the device’s security and core functionality, providing users with the best possible experience.

The update incorporates numerous fixes for security vulnerabilities addressed in the previous version, ensuring a safer and more secure user experience. It protects the device against potential risks and threats while also adding stability to the device’s behavior and delivering performance optimizations for smooth and efficient functionality.

Currently, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 owners are receiving the March patch, while the update is expected to be available for Z Fold 5 units soon.
