Samsung stands out as a leading Android manufacturer, consistently delivering the latest security patches to its entire Galaxy ecosystem. Recently, the company released the details of its latest monthly Security Maintenance Release (SMR), which incorporates the March 2025 security patch notes from both Google and Samsung.

The March 2025 Android security bulletin package from Google addresses numerous CVE items, including 11 critical issues, 40 high-level vulnerabilities, 1 previously addressed CVE, and 3 CVEs that do not affect Samsung devices.

In addition to the Google patches, Samsung Mobile has introduced 7 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) items, enhancing the security and user experience of its devices while improving core functionality and performance. These SVEs cover improvements to device settings, Galaxy Watch Gallery, Wi-Fi service, and updates to Android applications such as Samsung Notes, Galaxy Wearable, and My Files.

Samsung will soon begin rolling out the March 2025 security update to its eligible Galaxy smartphones, foldables, and tablets worldwide. However, the company has removed certain Galaxy devices from the security update list, including the Galaxy A32 5G, Galaxy F12, and Galaxy M12, which will no longer receive security updates.
