The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are getting the March 2025 security patch with firmware version numbers F926BXXSBIYB3 and F711BXXSCIYB3, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 FE is receiving the update with firmware version number G990B2ODMBGYC1.
Although there are no notable changes in this update, it does fix some bugs to enhance the overall security of the devices. Moreover, new security patches often include additional fixes to improve device performance and stability.
If you own a Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, or S21 FE in Europe, you should receive a notification about the update’s availability. Alternatively, you can manually check for updates through the system settings.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 were launched in 2021 with Android 11 and One UI 3, and have since received three major updates, including One UI 7. The Galaxy S21 FE, launched in 2022 with Android 12, is promised to receive four more major updates, which means it may get updates based on Android 15 and Android 16.
