Samsung is known for its consistent delivery of updates for its Galaxy devices. The company is now rolling out a new software update, the March 2025 patch, for both carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 models in the US, following its release in Europe.

The latest update for the carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, which incorporates the March 2025 security update, carries the version numbers F936USQS8GYB2 and F721USQS8GYB2, respectively. Meanwhile, the unlocked units have the build numbers F936U1UES8GYB2 and F721U1UES8GYB2, respectively.

The software update is currently available on carriers such as T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Comcast, and Samsung will gradually expand its availability to all users.

As expected, the latest security update is a minor patch that does not introduce any significant features or changes. Instead, it provides a multitude of fixes for security vulnerabilities addressed in previous versions, aiming to offer a safe and secure user experience while protecting the device from potential threats.

In addition to security enhancements, the update also improves the overall system stability and reliability, ensuring efficient functionality of the Galaxy devices. Furthermore, it introduces performance optimizations that will result in a smoother, more stable, and optimized performance.
