Samsung is now just two months away from unveiling its next-generation foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, with mass production having commenced.
The South Korean tech giant is preparing to launch its seventh-generation foldable phones at the Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled to take place in the first week of July 2025. In addition to these devices, Samsung is also developing a new affordable foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is rumored to be rebranded as the Galaxy Z Flip Xe, although its launch is expected to occur later this year, in the fourth quarter.
Recently, it was reported that Samsung would begin mass production of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in May, and this report has now been confirmed. A tipster, Panda Flash, shared a post on X, claiming that the company has initiated mass production of its next-generation foldable phone.
It was reported a few days ago that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (US Model) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and has been spotted running One UI 8 on Geekbench. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to be powered by the in-house Exynos 2500, reportedly for cost-cutting purposes.
While it is confirmed that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in early July to unveil the latest foldable phones, the official date has yet to be announced. It will be interesting to see what new features the upcoming foldable phones will bring.
