Samsung has begun shipping the preordered Galaxy S25 Ultra devices from February 7, and is also making the device available in offline stores through IGGS outlets and carrier partners. However, for some reason, the maximum storage variant of the Galaxy S25 Ultra isn’t available for users purchasing it from carrier’s stores.

It is worth noting that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is officially available in four storage variants: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 12GB+1TB, and 16GB+1TB. Here, the 1TB variant is only available in the US with unlocked variants. If users choose a carrier-lock variant, they must choose the lower storage variant.

Due to the lack of Micro SD support, users who wish to purchase the Galaxy S25 Ultra will require the larger storage variant because media files created on the devices need more storage.

If users opt for the lower storage variant, their storage can fill up within a few months, and their options for dealing with it are limited to a USB-C flash drive or cloud storage.

In conclusion, to stay away from the low storage variant for a longer time, the 1TB storage purchase will be a more intelligent decision. As for the cost, the 1TB variant costs $1419 without any offers for a limited time, yet if users trade in their eligible device, they can receive available benefits up to $1659.
