Samsung Rejoins Computex 2025 After 13 Years of Absence

A Strong Return to AI Technologies

Samsung Electronics is back in the game, as it plans to rejoin Computex 2025 after a 13-year absence. The Korean giant has been actively attending trade shows such as CES and IFA, and also holds its dedicated Unpacked events and display/developer forums.

A Return to a Global Exhibition

The last time Samsung attended Computex was in 2012, and it has been almost 10 years since the company took part in this event. Computex is a global exhibition that showcases the latest innovations in information and communications technology (ICT) and the Internet of Things (IoT). This year, the show is scheduled from 20 to 23 May.

A Shift in Focus

Usually, Computex is held annually in Taiwan and is also considered one of the world’s leading technology shows. The reason Samsung is planning to rejoin the show is that it is aggressively looking forward to expanding its way into advanced technologies and innovations to upgrade its ecosystem.

A Comprehensive Theme

Noticeably, Computex used to be focused mainly on PC components, for instance, graphics cards and motherboards. The computing industry’s AI efforts in recent years have shifted the comprehensive theme of Computex to include AI solutions and hardware. It will be interesting to see exactly what will happen next.
