Samsung has begun rolling out the June 2025 security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, following the successful deployment of the One UI 7 stable update in all eligible countries.

With the One UI 7 update rollout now complete for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 models, the company is shifting its focus to the June 2025 security update, which is initially available in South Korea. The update is identified by the build numbers F946NKSS5EYF1 and F731NKSS5EYF1 for the respective models.

The monthly Android security bulletin typically includes minor patches aimed at enhancing the overall security and core functionality of Galaxy devices.

Although the update does not introduce any significant features or changes, it does address a range of security vulnerabilities, providing a more secure user experience and protecting devices against potential threats. The update is the result of a collaborative effort between Google and Samsung.

In addition to the security enhancements, the update also improves the overall system behavior, adding stability and reliability to ensure more efficient functionality. Furthermore, it optimizes device performance, resulting in a smoother and more stable user experience.

Samsung is currently rolling out the June patch to Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 units in South Korea, and users can now download the latest version on their devices. Other eligible regions are expected to follow suit in the near future.
