Samsung has put the One UI 7 stable rollout on hold following the discovery of a serious bug, just after releasing the update for a limited number of devices in select countries.
The company initially launched the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 software on the Galaxy S25 series. Last month, it announced plans to expand the latest software update to older Galaxy devices, revealing a roadmap for different regions.
As announced, Samsung began expanding the Android 15-based One UI 7 update on April 7 for its most recent flagship smartphones. However, the rollout was paused just a week later to prevent users from encountering a serious bug.
A reliable tipster, IceUniverse, shared a post on X, stating that Samsung has halted the One UI 7 rollout due to a serious bug found in the recently released stable build for Galaxy S24 smartphones, prompting the intentional pause.
According to the official One UI 7 roadmap, Samsung was scheduled to expand the One UI 7 update on April 14 in Vietnam and other regions. However, this is no longer the case, as the company has paused the rollout due to the reported bug.
While Samsung has yet to release an official statement regarding this report, it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds and when the company will resume the rollout.
