Users of the Samsung Galaxy S24 are still anticipating the release of the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 update. However, a Samsung community moderator has addressed the rumors surrounding the public release, stating that it may not occur until at least April.

It was previously reported that Samsung had plans to release three additional One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series, with each update being released on a monthly basis until April, starting from this month. Recently, the fourth beta of One UI 7 was made available for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, featuring new functionalities and bug fixes. The full changelog can be viewed here.

Samsung Addresses One UI 7 Beta Delay—Here’s Their Response

A Samsung moderator has responded to the speculation, stating that “the number of Beta versions is determined by the need to refine and improve the software based on user feedback—not by a fixed plan.” The moderator emphasized the importance of transparency, acknowledging that while Samsung may not always be able to provide an exact timeline, they will release updates as soon as the information is finalized.

Notably, this is the first time in Samsung’s history that there has been such a prolonged delay in the public rollout of a major One UI update. One surprising aspect of the lengthy wait for the One UI 7 stable release is that a newly launched budget-friendly Galaxy smartphone is already running One UI 7 out of the box.

The exact number of beta updates and the duration of the beta program remain to be seen.
