The latest iteration of Samsung’s One UI, version 7, which is built on top of Android 15, has been packed with numerous surprises thus far. Currently, the company is testing the latest Android skin, and the fourth beta is available for owners of the Galaxy S24 series.
Despite the numerous rumors circulating, suggesting that the company will continue with the One UI 7 beta program, a recent report indicates that Samsung is preparing the Galaxy A55 and A54 devices for the beta program. This raises the question of whether Samsung plans to release the One UI 7 beta program for Galaxy A55 and A54 units.
Galaxy A55 and A54 Could Get One UI 7 Beta Update
According to a post shared by tipster Tarun Vats (via X), the first One UI 7 beta build for the Samsung Galaxy A55 has been spotted on test servers with the ZYB6 build number. Additionally, another report (via) mentions that the Galaxy A54 has also appeared on the beta build’s test servers with the ZYB8 version number.
This discovery has created confusion among Galaxy users, leaving them wondering if Samsung intends to release the One UI 7 Beta channel for both the Galaxy A55 and A54. It is worth noting that other smartphones, including the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, have already been spotted on One UI 7 beta test builds.
As of now, the One UI 7 beta progress appears to be expanding to more Galaxy devices, hinting that fans should not expect the stable One UI 7 version for the Galaxy S24 series anytime soon.
