Samsung appears to be planning to roll out its convenient One UI 7 feature, Now Bar, to a wider range of Galaxy smartphones, including mid-range devices.

Samsung introduced the Now Bar feature with One UI 7, which is an interactive element on the lock screen that provides real-time updates. Although initially, it was suggested that older devices might not be compatible with this feature due to hardware limitations, it seems that this may not be the case.

Before expanding the stable One UI 7 to older Galaxy devices, Samsung launched the Galaxy F06, an affordable smartphone that runs Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and supports the Now Bar feature.

Surprisingly, the Galaxy F06, despite being one of the most affordable devices, supports the Now Bar feature, which suggests that it may be possible for Samsung to extend this feature to more budget-friendly devices. A user on X shared a post claiming that the newly launched Galaxy F06 brings the One UI 7’s Now Bar feature.

Furthermore, some leaks suggest that the upcoming mid-range Galaxy A06 may also support the Now Bar feature. If this report is true, it is possible that at least some older flagship devices could be eligible for the feature. Only time will tell what Samsung has in store for its users.
