The Samsung Galaxy family has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the stable One UI 7 on their eligible smartphones for a significant amount of time. Currently, owners of the S24 series are testing the fourth beta of the latest software skin in various countries. A new timeline has now emerged, suggesting that the stable One UI 7 rollout is approaching.

A user (via X) shared a screenshot from Samsung Support, which appears to hint that Samsung is preparing for the stable One UI 7 rollout for all eligible Galaxy devices, with a planned release in February 2025.

Notably, the user is from the Ivory Coast, a region where Samsung does not typically deploy its beta programs, as the company usually limits these programs to certain regions, including Germany, the United Kingdom, the US, South Korea, Poland, and India.

According to the response from Samsung Support:

“The stable version of One UI 7 is expected to start rolling out to eligible devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, from February 2025. Although the exact timeline for Ivory Coast has not been specified, Samsung aims to make major updates available globally.”

What’s Next?

Previously, it was reported via the Samsung India community that Beta 4 will likely be the final beta version, with the stable One UI 7 release expected to follow soon. However, considering Samsung’s delayed release, it is possible that the stable rollout will occur within a month or so.

Moreover, Samsung seems to be adopting a new strategy, where the latest flagship S series will be released with the stable One UI x.0 version, including additional features, while older Galaxy devices will continue to test the beta version. This could be another reason for the software delay.
