Samsung’s Now Bar is a key feature of One UI 7, and a recent online rumor suggests that Good Lock may soon receive a new module for customizing Now Bar, although this is purely speculative at this point.
Initially, One UI 7 introduced the innovative Now Bar feature, which provides a more streamlined experience for users by displaying essential information on the home screen, lock screen, and AOD, allowing for quick glances at key details, leveraging a new notification system.
Samsung One UI 7 Now Bar could soon have its own Good Lock module
A recent report (via X) indicates that Samsung might be developing a dedicated Good Lock Suite application to offer additional features and customizations for the Now Bar.
According to the reports, this new module could potentially allow users to modify the color and size of the Now Bar, add or remove animations, and notably, enable support for third-party apps on the Now Bar.
However, it is essential to note that these reports are unsubstantiated and should be treated as leaks or claims, as there has been no official confirmation from Samsung. While the company has not publicly addressed these rumors, it is possible that they are working on Now Bar customization options behind the scenes.
Currently, only the latest Galaxy S25 series and select A series devices have a stable One UI 7 version running Android 15, which can fully utilize the Now Bar’s features.
