Having already delivered the One UI 7 stable update to its 2023 models in various regions, the company is now expanding the May 2025 security patch to Europe, with wider availability expected soon.

The latest firmware for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra carries the build numbers S911BXXS8DYDB, S916BXXS8DYDB, and S918BXXS8DYDB, respectively.

This update is primarily a minor security patch, and as such, it does not introduce any significant new features or changes. Instead, it focuses on enhancing the device’s overall security and core functionality by integrating numerous bug fixes for previously acknowledged security vulnerabilities, thereby providing a more secure user experience and protecting the device from external risks.
