Samsung has introduced the One UI 7 update to its foldable devices, starting with the beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The latest beta update has brought some unique changes to these devices. In this article, we will explore one of the notable changes that has occurred in the Taskbar feature.
One UI 7 Offers a Convenient Task Management Feature for Galaxy Z Fold 6
The One UI 7 update has introduced a new taskbar feature that allows users to show the taskbar with gesture actions. According to a report, Galaxy Z Foldable users can now access the taskbar by slowly swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Notably, this functionality has been available on all Android tablets since Android 13.

The feature description states, “When using swipe navigation, the taskbar is automatically hidden when apps are open. To show it again, swipe up slowly from the bottom of the screen.”
In addition to this, the new software development for the One UI 7 on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 includes another significant change. It appears that Samsung has listened to user feedback and added the music or multimedia widget to the notification panel.
One UI 7 for Galaxy Z Fold 6 Integrates Multimedia into the Nowbar
Yesterday, we reported that the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 brings a notable change, allowing users to access music controls directly with one tap through Now Bar integration on the home screen. This functionality is currently absent from the Galaxy S25 series, but it is expected to be included in a future update.
