Samsung is currently enhancing the compatibility of its recently introduced Galaxy AI feature, Now Bar, by incorporating support for third-party apps.

According to a report from a reputable source, Samsung plans to add several third-party apps, including Kakao T and Naver Sports, to the list of Now Bar-supported apps. The Now Bar feature, which was introduced on the Galaxy S25 series with One UI 7, allows users to access information and main functions from applications without having to open them separately.

So far, Now Bar has only supported native apps, but if the report is accurate, Kakao T will be the first third-party taxi app to be integrated into Now Bar. By pressing the application icon on the top bar, users can check the estimated time of arrival for pickup or destination and receive notifications when using a designated driver or bike.

Naver Sports is the second real-time sports information app to be supported, after Google Sports, and provides real-time updates on sports teams subscribed to through ‘My Team’ on Naver. Additionally, several other sports, including soccer, baseball, basketball, and volleyball, are expected to be compatible with Now Bar in the near future.

According to reports, Now Bar is also expected to support ‘Cross App Actions,’ which enables the transfer of work data between apps. Samsung is emphasizing the Cross App Action feature, which utilizes the voice assistant Bixby, starting with the Galaxy S25. For example, if you instruct Bixby to ‘Play a song on YouTube Music and call a Kakao T taxi to my destination,’ it will be able to process the commands across multiple apps seamlessly.
