Samsung has recently unveiled its latest lineup of Galaxy Tab S10 FE devices under the Fan Edition family, promising to provide flagship-level update support.

Following a prolonged period of anticipation, the Korean tech giant officially announced the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, which includes the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. Alongside the official announcement, Samsung revealed detailed specifications, color options, pricing, and availability for the tablets, although the software policy was not disclosed.

A controversy has recently arisen regarding the software support for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, with uncertainty surrounding whether the devices will receive six or seven years of software updates.

However, it has now been officially confirmed that Samsung will provide seven years of OS and security updates for the newly launched tablets. According to the official product page for the Galaxy Tab S10 series, the devices will receive security updates until at least the end of April 2032. As the tablets were launched with Android 15-based One UI 7, this means they will likely receive Android 22 as their final major OS update, based on the provided timeline.

Samsung has already implemented a policy of providing six years of software support for its newly launched mid-range smartphones and seven years for its flagship devices. Additionally, the company has recently confirmed that Galaxy S25 Enterprise phones will receive updates up to Android 23.
