It appears that Samsung is making room for significant enhancements to the Expert RAW app, specifically for the current Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones, according to a recent leak.
In essence, the Expert RAW app is a built-in feature on Galaxy devices that provides professional camera control capabilities for advanced photography. A recent leak suggests that Samsung is planning to introduce several upgrades to the Expert RAW app.
According to leaker Theordysm on X, the Expert RAW app will receive additional features, including support for 200MP adaptive pixels, customizable composition guides, an updated level guide UI, and a rearranged image format option. Specifically, the image format option will be shifted to the 4th position from the left.
These updates are expected to be rolled out to the new Galaxy S25 Ultra devices via the latest Expert RAW update. The Galaxy S24 and S23 Ultra models may also receive these updates in the future, although the exact timeline is still uncertain.
If this leak proves to be accurate, a new update for the Expert RAW app may be released when Samsung starts rolling out the One UI 7 stable update for its previous Galaxy S series smartphones. This is likely to happen when the S24 series receives the update, followed by other devices by the end of April.
