Samsung has already given a sneak peek at another member of the Galaxy S25 family, the upcoming flagship device, the S25 Edge, through a brief teaser at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025. A new leak now suggests that the device may be slightly thicker than the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.

A reputable leaker, Ice Universe, shared on X, revealing valuable information that confirms the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will have a thickness of 5.84mm and weigh approximately 162g. This claim has previously been made by the same tipster.

Despite being touted as the slimmest and most stylish flagship yet, if the Galaxy S25 Edge indeed measures 5.84mm in thickness, it will be outdone by the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which boasts a thickness of only 4.9mm.

Samsung has achieved a lightweight design with a weight of 162g, but seemingly at the cost of the phone’s slimness. Meanwhile, numerous rumors have sparked curiosity among fans, with the Galaxy S25 Edge expected to feature a stunning design and enhanced durability thanks to a ceramic back for scratch resistance, rather than traditional glass.

Additionally, Samsung is reportedly preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge in Q2, 2025. As the launch date approaches, fans can expect more information about the device’s features and design.
