Presidents’ Day Apple Deals

Presidents’ Day is not typically known for offering a wide array of tech deals, but this year, there are a few noteworthy discounts available. One of the standout deals is on the iPad mini 7, which is available for $100 off, bringing the price down to $499. This is close to its record-low price.

A Solid Refresh

The iPad mini 7 has earned a spot on our list of the best iPads due to its solid refresh and lack of significant tradeoffs compared to the full-sized tablet. It supports the Apple Pencil Pro, features the powerful A17 Pro chip, and has a comfortable design. Overall, it’s an excellent iPad mini.

Key Features and Review

In our official review, we praised the iPad mini 7, calling it a "solid and necessary update to the best small tablet on the market." The stereo speakers impressed us with their sound quality, and the display, although capped at 60Hz, is nice. The camera array also takes decent shots, even in low light. This tablet is ideal for everyday computing tasks and playing mobile games like Balatro.

Minor Drawbacks

While this model does not feature an M-series chip, the A17 Pro provides ample power. However, the battery life may not be the best, as we struggled to get more than ten hours of use. Additionally, it lacks Face ID, which could be an issue for some users. Despite these minor drawbacks, the iPad mini 7 is a near-perfect compact tablet.
