Samsung is gradually rolling out the stable version of One UI 7, starting with its latest flagship devices, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has surprisingly received an early version of the update, even though its official release is still sometime away.

Recently, Samsung released the One UI 7 update, which is based on Android 15, for its newest flagship smartphones in South Korea, following its initial stable release with the Galaxy S25 series. The company is now expanding this update to more regions.

According to reports, users of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, and foldable devices in Italy are waiting for the One UI 7 update. Meanwhile, an early version of the update has been spotted on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, which is not part of the beta program.

As per Samsung’s One UI 7 roadmap, the official update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is not expected to arrive until at least June 2025. However, a user on X shared a short video and multiple screenshots showcasing One UI 7 running on the Galaxy Tab S9 FE.

It appears to be a pre-release test version, which is far from the final version and not yet ready for public release. The version of One UI 7 shown in the video has the build number X516BXXU7CYD1 and includes the April 2025 security patches. Since there has been no official statement regarding this early version, it remains to be seen how this will unfold.
