Samsung is currently in the process of expanding the stable One UI 7 release to its major eligible Galaxy devices. In the meantime, the Galaxy S22 series has also joined the One UI 7 stable update rollout.
Specifically, owners of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra have begun receiving the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 update, identified by the build numbers S901NKSU7FYD9, S906NKSU7FYD9, and S908NKSU7FYD9, respectively. This update is currently limited to Samsung’s home market, South Korea.

Despite its large installation size of nearly 5GB, the update brings a plethora of new features and improvements. These include an enhanced Galaxy AI, expanded Home screen and lock screen customisation options, optimised control centre with improved quick settings and notifications, and the integration of the Now Bar feature, which provides users with key information at a glance.
Additionally, the update introduces enhanced productivity tools, such as Drawing Assist, Call transcript, Writing Assist, and more. The update also includes the latest April 2025 Security patch, which enhances the device’s overall security and core functionality.
Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 7 stable update to older Galaxy devices, with the Galaxy S22 series being the latest to receive it in South Korea. This suggests that the update will soon be available in other eligible countries.
