Samsung has partnered with the Internet & Security Agency of Korea to introduce an AI-powered spam filter feature for Korean Galaxy users with the upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7 update.

The company is set to begin rolling out the stable version of One UI 7, based on Android 15, starting April 7 in the Korean market. This update is expected to bring numerous new features, improvements, and significant changes to enhance the overall system software. According to recent reports, the update will also include a new feature called AI Spam Filter.

A report by ETNews suggests that Samsung plans to introduce this new feature, specifically for Korean users, with the One UI 7 update. Previously, the company introduced a similar feature called Message Guard, which uses advanced sandbox technology to check files bit by bit and process them in a controlled environment, ensuring they cannot infect the rest of the device.

The newly unveiled One UI 7 Spam Filter feature utilizes artificial intelligence to identify and prevent suspicious content. However, this feature will initially be available only in the Korean market. It is possible that the company may expand the Message Guard feature to include similar capabilities for global users in the future.

There is currently limited information on how the feature will work and its convenience, as no official details have been released.
