Samsung has recently launched the second One UI 7 beta for Galaxy S23 users, introducing various changes, including new features and improvements. However, users who have installed this beta version are experiencing issues with home screen crashes.
In addition to the notable updates, the company has made changes to other existing applications, such as One UI Home. Unfortunately, these changes are not functioning as intended, causing the application to crash when using Google Assistant.
According to user reports, after installing the One UI 7 beta 2 update on their Galaxy S23 devices, their phones become unresponsive and get stuck on the home screen when using Gemini live, failing to respond to any clicks.
After a short period, a pop-up message appears, stating that the System UI is not responding, and once the “close app” option is selected, the device starts working normally again.
Since this issue is occurring in the beta version, it is not a significant concern, as it is a natural part of the testing process. Once users report this issue to Samsung, the company will address it in the next beta or stable update. For now, the only available solution is to close the Gemini application.
As with any beta update, this version also has other issues, such as the lack of a blur effect in the background for large folders. There are other problems as well, which will be resolved in the next beta update. As a beta user, it is essential to provide feedback to the company as soon as possible to ensure that these issues are addressed in a timely manner.
