Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series have been extensively testing One UI 7, which has introduced a multitude of novel features, with the Now Bar being a particularly noteworthy addition. The Now Bar has been enhanced with the ability to display sports details, courtesy of Google Sports integration. However, the most recent One UI 7 beta release is causing issues with sports data on the Now Bar for Galaxy S24 users.
Recently, Galaxy S24 series owners received the latest One UI 7 beta 6 update. Nevertheless, it has been reported that this new beta build is disrupting the functionality of the Now Bar on the lock screen, resulting in a blank display.
Essentially, Samsung has integrated Google Sports into its dynamic notification system, the Now Bar, enabling users to access detailed information about the sports world or their favorite teams.
However, the Now Bar is currently failing to fetch real-time sports data, and users are unable to view any results via the Now Bar on the lock screen, even after selecting teams to follow.
Simultaneously, this issue appears to be limited to S24 series devices. Unfortunately, troubleshooting methods such as clearing the Google app’s cache, switching accounts, or updating the Google app do not resolve the Now Bar’s sports issue.
Additionally, there is no official fix or timeline for a fix currently available. It is hoped that Samsung will provide a solution for the Now Bar problem for Galaxy S24 series owners as soon as possible.
